Famous humanoid robot Sophia has started painting. The first auction of her works will be held this week.
Sophia created the paintings in collaboration with 31-year-old Italian artist Andrea Bonaceto. The robot combined her style, history, and her ideas.
"We use transmission networks, genetic algorithms in my art, and other forms of computer creativity. My algorithm creates unique patterns. So I think robots can be creative," Sophia said.
Sophia hopes that people will like her paintings. She will also be happy if people cooperate with her in the future.
