A Rover Perseverance sent to Mars by NASA has delivered sounds of its movement on the Red Planet to Earth. The audio recording is posted on NASA social network.
"Do you hear it? This is how my movement sounds on the surface of Mars. It is the first time we have recorded the sound of walking on Mars," NASA wrote on Twitter.
NASA's fifth Rover, Perseverance, first sent sound from the surface of Mars on February 23rd.
Hear that? Thatâs the sound of me driving over Martian rocks. This is the first time weâve captured sounds while driving on Mars.
