Information about enrollment and grants became known to the entrants today. In 2020, 29 614 entrants will continue their studies in higher education institutions.

Sophio Gorgodze, the Director of the National Center for Assessment and Examinations, addressed the younger generation and wished them success.

"I congratulate each of them and wish them success. For various reasons, those who have not been able to show their abilities this year, I ask you not to lose motivation - you will have the opportunity to continue studies in the future.

Up to 6 550 entrants received state grants, of which more than 1 000 received 100% funding, up to 1 500 received 70% funding, and more than 4 000 entrants received 50% grants.

Compared to the previous year, 71% of the registered entrants became students last year, and this year - 75%. So we have a better situation this year.

This year was a challenge for the center itself as it had to conduct various tests for an estimated 70 000 people in an unprecedentedly tricky situation. I want to thank each person involved in the process, who did everything in their power to make the examination process as easy as possible, as comfortable and safe, without complications.

I want to remind the entrants who gained the right to continue their studies that they should apply directly to higher education institutions to register," Gorgodze stated.
