Director of Pension Agency Levan Surguladze has submitted the six- month report to the parliament. According to him, 923,258 people, out of which 215,667 are employed at the public sector, are involved in the pension scheme at present. As Mr. Surguladze states, 162,842 people have filed applications on exclusion from the pension scheme.
Reportedly, the number of people who voluntarily leave the Pension Agency is declining with time, with 100,000 people having been included in the scheme according to the data of the last four months.
