A special flight is scheduled to bring Georgian citizens from Israel today. The planned flight will bring minors, people with chronic diseases, and transit passengers from the USA back to Georgia, as reported by the Foreign Ministry to Report.ge
A representative of the Georgian Embassy will pass the holy fire to the representative of Patriarchy who will deliver it by the flight.
“The flights from various European countries were accomplished according to the schedule developed by the Coordination Council bringing Georgian citizens from Warsaw, Berlin, Vienna, London, Athens, USA, Larnaca, Amsterdam, Pekin, Rome, Paris, etc.
By April 18, the representatives of Georgian diplomatic sector have assisted 7,353 Georgia citizens in the places, organized flights and transported 6,435 citizens back to Georgia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs updates information about the citizens of Georgia, residing in foreign countries, on a daily basis on the Ministry’s website.
Reminder: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Coordination Council organizes the transportation of Georgian citizens from other countries by Georgian Airways. The Coordination Council has developed the flights’ schedule and established the ticket price 199 euro.
These flights are accomplished in full compliance with the recommendations issued by WHO, and all passengers are placed in 14-day quarantine upon arrival to the country,” – the Ministry states.
