Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 52 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 334 people were tested.
A total of 121 patients are now under treatment at the five COVID centers in the region, with 26 in critical condition.
The occupied region has so far registered 14,795 cases, 13,780 recoveries, and 222 deaths.
