A car accident took place in Bolnisi municipality, near the village of Kvesha. Two cars collided, resulting in a middle-aged man's death, a driver of one of the vehicles.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation launched under Article 276, Part 6 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates violation of the rules of traffic or operation of vehicles.
The crime is punishable by imprisonment for four to seven years, deprivation of the right to hold office or activity for up to three years.
