The Ministry of Health has published accident statics at different construction facilities. As the statistics have it, on 5 December 2019, in comparison to 2018 data, the number of fatal accidents has decreased by 35% and the number of injuries by 32%: in 2018, 59 workers died and 199 were injured at construction facilities, while in 2019, 38 died and 135 sustained injuries.
According to the Ministry, a new method for recording accidents has been implemented, with information obtained so that its credibility can be ensured.
