"I hope they will reach the solution," Congressman Adam Kinzinger said in an interview with the Voice of America.
In response to a question about letters sent to the Georgian government, Kinzinger said the US interest was in finding a solution for Georgia.
"We understand how important Georgia is to us. Georgia remains a firm partner. Now, all parties are trying to have a solution. This is how democracy works. The only way for people of different interests to coexist is to make some concessions. One of the things we are paying attention to is to ensure that the elections are fair and free," Kinzinger said.
