Agreement with majoritarian deputies reached, says Mdinaradze

Leader of Parliamentary majority Mamuka Mdinaradze says that the agreement among majoritarian deputies and other members of the ruling party has been reached on some matters.

"The first topic we discussed was the offer the majority of the team, the head of the party and we made to those majoritarian MPs who are trying to collect signatures to implement a fully majoritarian system.

We are not giving away all details on our agreement today since we need two or three days to lay down all technical details, and after this, we can be sure that the agreement will be reached," Mdinaradze said.

According to Mdinaradze, two other issues have been discussed at the session: the issue of Supreme court candidates and multi-mandate electoral districts. As per Mdinaradze, the latter was superficially discussed due to a shortage of time.
