All the seven fires have reportedly been extinguished at different locations throughout the country. As Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Ioseb Chelidze informs, small teams of firefighters have still remained in these locations.
By this time, the fire has been pulled out in the vicinity of the village of Tskhumari, Mestia municipality. Around 50 firefighters have been engaged in fire suppression operations since morning. The fire in Lentekhi municipality forest has also been reportedly extinguished, with 18 firefighters having been involved in firefighting operations.
Fires in the vicinity of the village of Iri, the village of Khidashelebi, Oni municipality and fires in the vicinity of the village of Abari, Amrolauri municipality, as well as fires in the village of Salkhino, Martvili municipality have also been reportedly pulled out.
