An ambulance in Tbilisi made the heart of a 79-year-old man work again. The ambulance crew members were senior doctor Maia Kurdadze, junior doctor Tamta Lashkhia and driver Davit Mekerishvili. They helped the fourth person with the identical problem in 2020.
"The patient was in severe condition. We knew that we had to transport him to the clinic immediately. The heart stopped on the way. He stopped breathing; we immediately started cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The man's heartbeat resumed, he started breathing," said senior doctor Maia Kurdadze.
