Amiran Gamkrelidze says that approximately 400 people will have the virus by the end of this week. According to him, the peak will be at the end of April, and the beginning of May will be challenging.
"This month will be tough, the numbers might double," Gamkrelidze noted that the numbers would begin to decline from mid-May.
According to him, the number of infected will increase to 1000 by the end of April.
