"If we do not raise the vaccine coverage rate, we will have more intense waves every two months," Amiran Gamkrelidze, the head of the National Center for Disease Control, stated.
"November will be quite difficult. Many may not like my prediction, but unfortunately, we started the fifth wave with a very high mark. Neither the second, nor the third, nor the fourth waves started with this mark. The pandemic is getting worse now; the delta strain has turned out to be quite aggressive," Gamkrelidze said during the interview with the First Channel.
