The head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health noted that the daily increase in the number of coronavirus cases would continue. Amiran Gamkrelidze made the statement at the briefing held after the sitting of the Interagency Council.
"Statistics are growing, and the number of cases will increase. Using different forecasting models made by the Center for Disease Control, a peak will occur in the 2nd, 3rd week of November, so the daily increase in the number of cases will continue. The main thing is that we control the process. It is still manageable and should remain so," Amiran Gamkrelidze said.
Gamkrelidze explained that the recommendations, which include the use of masks, social distance, and hygiene, should be followed.
