One more person has died with coronavirus in Georgia. Levan Ratiani, Head of the First University Hospital, provides this information.
“I told you yesterday that one of the patient’s condition was terminal. The condition of the woman who was transferred to our hospital from Tbilisi Sea Hospital on March 3 was initially critical. In alkali-acid balance, alkali was 7.0, indicating that the condition of the patient was critical, terminal with the hemodynamic disorder,” – said Ratiani.
The doctor says that the patient had multiple chronic diseases that caused the inefficiency of the symptomatic treatment method.
“The treatment was implemented according to the protocol and guidelines, but it was not efficient and, unfortunately, the biological death of the patient occurred.” – Ratiani told journalists.
The number of coronavirus-infected persons in Georgia is 170; two out of the number have died; thirty-six have recovered; 5,067 persons are in quarantine; 330 in-patients are under the medical supervision.
