The National Examinations Center says that around 30 university entrants have failed to show up at the examination as they were diagnosed with coronavirus. However, according to the center, they will be allowed to take an examination in English and Russian languages later this year. Eighty other entrants who failed to take Georgian language and literature examinations earlier will also be permitted to take them later this year.
The center says that the examination process, which was launched on 1 July, is running smoothly. The foreign language examination is set to be held tomorrow in two stages.
