Allergist-immunologist Bidzina Kulumbegov addresses the population with the statement that the protective masks play a serious role in the coronavirus fight process, and people must use it correctly.
“I say that the face masks are turned into a farce, and people share them. There are also facts of turning it into a subject of entertainment. As a doctor, I want to tell everybody that we have to take it with full seriousness since our contamination level depends on the number of viruses that get into our bodies. It is proportionally linked to the disease. Masks have a serious deterrent effect. It should be hygienically used. It must be changed every two-three hours. A few viruses may penetrate through the home-made fabric masks, but our immune system can defeat the minor volumes of viruses.” – said Kulumegov in his interview with the TV Pirveli.
