Every year, 50 children in Georgia are diagnosed with hearing loss.
With the support of the European Union, together with the ASB and the partner organization Smenad, the process of rehabilitation of children with cochlear implants in Marneuli is carried out in their native language, which was not possible for the ethnic Azerbaijani population until now.
As a result of the project, 20 ethnic Azerbaijani children with cochlear implants could complete the rehabilitation process.
