President Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of condolences to President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili, report.az says.
The letter reads the following:
''We were deeply saddened by the news of many casualties resulting from the bus crash in your country's Dusheti municipality territory. On the occasion of this tragedy, on my behalf and behalf of the Azerbaijan people, I extend my heartfelt condolences to you, families and relatives of the victims, friendly people of Georgia, and wish the recovery to the injured."
A minibus fell off a cliff from about 80-meter height on August 23 at the Shatili road.
The accident claimed 17 lives and left three severely injured.
