Allergologist-immunologist Bidzina Kulumbegov says that the quarantine period for asymptomatic infected citizens should be reduced as soon as possible. According to him, the leading countries have already made this decision, which is very timely.
"In the case of patients who are confirmed to have the covid infection but have no clinical symptoms, based on scientific evidence and medical studies, their ability to transmit and the epidemiological risk are practically lost after five days. The world's leading countries have made this decision, which is very timely. Our country must approve this decision as soon as possible," said Kulumbegov.
The Ministry of Health will renew the quarantine terms in the next two days.
