The next stage of raising awareness of ethnic minorities on coronavirus prevention measures has been launched in Georgia.

State Minister Tea Akhvlediani has visited the Kvemo Kartli region within the framework of the information campaign.

The minister met locals in the Tsopi village, presenting them with medical brochures and face masks.

The minister stressed the significance of having the comprehensive and correct information on the vaccination process.

The State Minister also met with representatives of local self-government; together with other authorities, she underscored the importance of vaccination and introduced herself to the current epidemiological situation in the region.

Ms. Akhvlediani provided the representatives of local self-government with Azerbaijani and Armenian-language information materials to be distributed to villages away from the municipal centers of the Kvemo Kartli region, where locals have restricted access to the corresponding information.
