A car accident occurred in the village of Khala in Kobuleti. Five people were killed in a car crash.
According to the Emergency Medical Center, the dead were 16- to 17-year-old minors. They were already dead when the brigades arrived at the scene.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the investigation was launched under Article 276, Eighth Section of the Criminal Code, which violates traffic safety or operation rules, killing two or more people.
The crime is punishable by imprisonment for the term of six to ten years, with deprivation of the right to hold office or work for the term of up to three years.
