"We have opened borders, and the risk has certainly increased to a certain extent," Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Head of the NCDC, said.
"We have had 25 new cases today, the highest figure since May; however, the situation still remains under control," Gamkrelidze said, adding that the illusion that we have already beat the virus, together with opening the borders, has promoted an increase in the cases.
Entering and leaving the Mestia, Ushguli and Lenjeri regions have been restricted after more coronavirus cases were reported there.
