According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, following the decision made by the Interagency Coordination Council of the Government of Georgia, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to actively monitor the citizens in the villages of Kaspi Municipality, checkpoints have been launched in Igoeti, Samtavisi, and Kvemo Chala.

Citizens entering and leaving the mentioned villages' territory are subjected to thermal screening and, if necessary, testing. Entry and the right to leave three villages in the Shida Kartli region and other villages in Kaspi Municipality are not restricted, and no other quarantine measures are imposed.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on the citizens to show high public responsibility, to wear a mask, and obey the existing regulations. Police officers are intensively patrolling the village to maintain public order and safety.

All persons on the territory of Georgia are obliged to comply with the Georgian legislation requirements of public health.
