The civil funeral of well-known Georgian actor Kakhi Kavsadze is underway in Shota Rustaveli State Theatre.
Colleagues and the public paid tribute to the late actor.
Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili also offered his condolences to Kavsadze’s family.
Well-known Georgian artist Kakhi Kavsadze will be buried at Saburtalo cemetery today.
His body will be transferred from Rustaveli Theatre.
His wife Bela Mirianashvili was also buried in this cemetery.
Georgian actor Kakhi Kavsadze died aged 86 due to novel coronavirus complications on April 27.
