Classes resume in Georgian Sunday school in Israel

Thanks to strenuous efforts by the Consulate of Georgia, in the City of Lodi, Israel, a new academic year will start in a renewed building of the first Georgian Sunday school called "Mamuli".

Together with the school administration and his supporters, Consul of Georgia to the State of Israel  Davit Chachava and leader and creator of Rustavi ensemble Anzor Erkomaishvili congratulated students on the beginning of the new academic year.

Georgian Sunday school "Mamuli," placed in the "Georgian House" owned by The Georgian Patriarchate, has functioned since 2018 in the City of Lodi under the aegis of the Diaspora organization "Mamuli."

Students at school are provided with the possibility to learn the Georgian language and literature, the history of Georgia, culture and music.

In 2019, around ten new students from different cities of Israel will join the school.
