Coordination Council of Georgia allows nightclubs to host visitors

By the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council, nightclubs have been allowed to hold New Year events on 31 December and 1 January. Report News Agency informs, referring to the government's press office.

''After holding consultation with the sector, we have reached an agreement according to which the number of guests allowed to attend the events will be limited. Also, the regulations will be stiffened: fully vaccinated citizens or people having recovered from coronavirus will be allowed to enter nightclubs. A failure to meet these criteria will result in the obligation to present valid 48-hour PCR test results.

Compliance with regulations will be monitored by the corresponding agencies,'' the statement reads.
