Another employee at the Georgian Dream party has reportedly tested positive for the new coronavirus.
Head of the NCDC Amiran Gamkrelidze said that five contacts of the Georgian Dream staff member have also contracted the virus. Two infected are the contacts of the State Protection Service employees, with one of them being a personal bodyguard of the chairperson of the parliament.
A total of 200 employees at the party's office have been tested for the novel virus.
According to the Georgian Dream party, the corresponding measures have been implemented, with the contacts of the coronavirus patients isolated. The office has also been disinfected.
