In the last 24 hours, 13 employees of different divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed to have COVID-19. The press service of the agency revealed the information to report.ge about the positive results.
According to them, 10 out of 13 cases observed in Adjara:
"Two cases registered in the Security Police Department;
Three cases - in the Batumi Line Service of the Patrol Police Department;
One case of coronavirus confirmed by the Batumi Emergency Management Service;
One detected in Adjara Police Department;
One case reported in the Service of the Main Division of Border Management and Coordination of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
Two cases were confirmed in the Adjara Division of the Special Assignments Department.
One case of coronavirus was detected in the Tbilisi Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. One case registered in Tbilisi - in the Security Police Division. An employee of the 2nd Division of the Special Tasks Department in Samegrelo confirmed to have coronavirus as well," the agency said.
All employees of the relevant units, with whom the infected had direct contact, have been taken under observation and have taken tests. The buildings where they were on duty underwent disinfection. All thirteen employees are receiving appropriate treatment. Their condition is stable.
On September 20, 11 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs tested positive on COVID-19.
