A new case of coronavirus got confirmed in the village of Karajala, Telavi Municipality. A middle-aged woman confirmed to be infected by PCR testing.
The patient will be transferred from the boxed department of the Telavi Regional Hospital to the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Tbilisi.
Specialists suggest that this is not a local case. According to epidemiologists, a 63-year-old woman was working at the Lilo Market in Tbilisi. The patient addressed the clinic herself yesterday.
The middle-aged woman is one of three new cases of coronavirus, the source of which is yet unknown.
A group of epidemiologists is already working in the village to determine the source and contacts.
