Coronavirus: Georgian Health Minister says country will face peak

Georgian health minister Ekaterine Tikaradze says that the government cannot afford to lift a curfew at this point as the third wave may hit the country.

In Tikaradze's words, hospital beds, clinics, including online clinics, and COVID hotels have already been prepared. 

According to her, the process of vaccination is going smoothly, with 3,000 citizens being vaccinated for two days in a to; row; this bringing the total vaccination tally to more than 55,000 citizens (more than 9,000 have already had both doses). 

The health minister also stressed that everything is being prepared for starting massive-scale vaccination in the country, with four locations set to be chosen to launch it.
