A teenager, 19, has died of the novel coronavirus in Georgia. She is painter Rati Tordia's daughter, Tekla Tordia. The girl reportedly had an underlying health condition.
Georgia recorded 3,216 cases in the past 24 hours to bring the total tally to 135,584. A total of 3,937 patients have recovered, with their number increasing to 113,986.
The country has registered 1,267 deaths (37 recent).
