Georgia's coronavirus cases now stand at 642 after three more people tested posted positive for the novel virus, according to stopcov.ge. Of the infected, 349 have so far successfully recovered in the country.

Georgia has registered its first case on 26 February 2020. A state of emergency here was declared on 21 March, with universal quarantine measures implemented on 31 March.

The WHO labeled coronavirus outbreak as pandemic on 11 March 2020. The virus hit China in December 2019; on 21 January, China confirmed the disease could pass from person to person and enforced quarantine in its two cities.
