A male coronavirus patient, 73, has fallen from the third floor of the Batumi Republican Clinical Hospital. Ajara's Health Ministry has released the information.
The patient has been taken to the intensive care unit, where he is now under treatment.
Ajara's Health Ministry says that the cause of the fall is unknown, as no one has witnessed the incident. The 73-year-old proves to be a family member of an employee at the same hospital. "He has been subjected to the corresponding medical tests, which showed that two rib bones in his chest are broken, and he is suffering from intra-abdominal hemorrhage," The ministry said.
