COVID-19 update: New cases of infected in Georgia

Five new patients tested positive on coronavirus in Georgia, while three patients recovered. Information about this got published on the official website created by the government.

According to, 963 people have COVID-19 in the country, of which 841 already recovered, and 15 people died.

Three Georgian citizens have been transferred from abroad for medical treatment. 

There are 3,903 citizens in quarantine, with 202 under hospital supervision.

The World Health Organization recognized coronavirus as a pandemic on March 11, 2020.

The outbreak of pneumonia in China began in December of 2019.

China confirmed that coronavirus was contagious and declared quarantine in two cities on January 21.
