The de facto regime detained a 96-year-old resident of the village of Kvemo Chala, Kaspi municipality, for crossing the so-called border.
The detained Gora Gharibashvili was trying to reach the cemetery in the village of Tsunevi, controlled by the de facto regime.
The State Security Service of Georgia told report.ge that they are aware of information about the illegal detention of a Georgian citizen.
“The hotline has been activated to verify information, and the European Union Monitoring Mission has also been informed,” the State Security Service of Georgia reported.
