The so-called “bots” attacked the official Facebook page of the Georgian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport.
“Today, while the whole country and international society recollect the events of 2008 War and the War heroes, visit the War memorial and the graves of the war victims, around 150 false accounts registered in India, Thailand, Morocco, Iraq, Pakistan of so-called “bots” accomplished an attack on the Ministry’s official web page.
The fact reveals that certain groups are using tragic events as an opportunity of implementing the provocation and targeted attack.
The Strategic Communication Department of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Georgia officially addresses the Facebook Administration to delete the false accounts and related pages.” – the statement reads.
