Doctor explains why they decided to discharge Mikheil Saakashvili from the clinic

Doctors at the Gori Military Hospital explained why they decided to discharge Mikheil Saakashvili from the hospital.

According to the doctor of the hospital, Malkhaz Urtkmelidze, the refining process of the third president ended on December 14, and he received all the necessary treatment. As Urtkmelidze notes, Saakashvili's health is no longer in danger.

"Mikheil Saakashvili was placed in our clinic on November 20; all the necessary instrumental examinations were performed, appropriate diagnoses were made. He was undergoing treatment; he was under constant monitoring these days. The refining process ended on December 14. His condition was assessed as stable. A decision was made to discharge the patient. However, after informing him, the patient showed an increase in blood pressure, which is why he was left in the hospital until his condition gets stabilized," said Malkhaz Urtkmelidze, a doctor at the Gori Military Hospital.
