"I believe that at this stage, we do not need mandatory vaccination," said the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze in response to a question from journalists.
She said it is important to encourage vaccination and refrain from organizing events.
"It is important to intensify communication at all levels to explain to each segment of the population why vaccination is important, to encourage vaccination, and to refrain from any coercive measures as much as possible. I think we do not need mandatory vaccinations. It is important to investigate each reason why a citizen refuses a vaccinate," Tikaradze said.
