A monthly meeting of the Professional Development Council took place at the Ministry of Health.
At the meeting, 12 issues studied by the Agency for Regulation of Medical and Pharmaceutical Activities related to the quality of medical services were discussed as well as the professional responsibilities of 28 physicians.
According to the decision of the council, the validity of the state certificate was suspended for eight doctors for various terms, a written warning was issued for 16 doctors, and four doctors were not given professional responsibility.
From January to May 31, 2021, the Professional Development Council discussed 54 issues and argued the professional responsibilities of 93 physicians.
The Professional Development Council consists of representatives of the Ministry of Health and its subordinate agencies, the Parliamentary Health Committee, medical institutions, and sectoral associations. The Board decides by a majority of votes.
