"Coronavirus confirmed to 8 teachers at Tbilisi Public School No. 161, and the school partially switched to distance learning," the Deputy Minister of Education, Ekaterine Dgebuadze, stated at the briefing.
According to her, the teachers of the school were diagnosed with the virus during the preliminary testing.
"There was a timely response, the school administration applied to the local health center, received recommendations from them, and based on these recommendations, part of the school switched to remote mode," Dgebuadze said.
In the last 24 hours, 133 new coronavirus cases have been detected in Georgia, 276 people have recovered, and 12 died.
