According to the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze, the current rate of coronavirus cases is relatively high but not decisive, and the following decisions will be made after the two-week observation.
"Increasing the statistics, of course, depends on the different strains and also on the effectiveness of all the measures that we call on the society. It is important that social activities are as limited as possible or take place only within the norms indicated by the Labor Inspectorate. The current number of cases, which is quite high, is not crucial, as it is important to monitor each of these increases for two weeks, which will then allow us to make a decision," said Tikaradze.
There are 1 194 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Georgia today, with 22 patients dead.
