According to the Embassy of Georgia to Kazakhstan, it is in touch with all citizens of Georgia.

The statement by the embassy says that the Georgian 'Ilori' Ensemble members have already been taken to a safe location after they presented it with the corresponding request.

''The staff of the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Kazakhstan works a regular pattern of hours. The hotline also operates for citizens, who can contact the embassy at +7 (717) 224-32-58.

Additionally, if citizens are unable to reach the hotline due to the internet or poor phone coverage issues, they can send a message to the following email address: [email protected],'' the statement reads.

The statement goes on to say that four members of the Georgian 'Ilori' Ensemble have already been taken 30 km away from Kazakhstan's Almaty capital and given food, required medicines, and accommodation.

According to the Embassy, another Georgian citizen has been provided with accommodation in the Atyrau city, and three other Georgians are also being transferred to a hotel, with all of them set to be soon returned to their homeland.

''Against the mass unrest in Kazakhstan, the government has declared a countrywide state of emergency. Per the commandant's office in Almaty, a special operation is now underway in Kazakhstan,'' the statement concludes.
