The Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Turkey has released a statement for citizens of Georgia.

"Following the decision of Turkey's government to combat the virus, different rules to enter the country by air, by land, and the rules for transit passengers have changed:

Foreign nationals aiming to enter Turkey and transit passengers are required to present a negative PCR test results certificate (tests performed during the last 72 hours) from 30 December of 2020.

Nationals failing to present negative test results certificates will not be entitled to enter the country.

Presenting similar certificates for children under six is not required.
