According to the Press Office of the MIA, a staff member at the Batumi structural unit of the Service Agency of the MIA has tested positive for the new coronavirus. The employee's test results arrived today. Other staff members who had interacted with the patient with the recently confirmed virus have been instructed to self-isolate. Epidemiologists are now trying to determine the source and trace contacts.
On 19 September, the Batumi structural unit will temporarily suspend services due to the planned disinfection efforts. From Monday, it will reportedly resume functioning.
