An Employment agency will start functioning on January 1. The presentation of the agency has been held today.
Ekaterine Tikaradze, the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, opened the event. Tikaradze defined the creation of jobs as the top priority of the government.
Tamila Barkalaia, the Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, introduced the agency to the public. She stressed that the Employment Agency would pursue its objective of implementing employment promotion programs and render the corresponding services.
Additionally, the Labour Market Information System worknet.gov.ge is set to be equipped with new functions, with this increasing its effectiveness.
