According to former Health Minister and Georgian Dream MP Davit Sergeenko, the country's vaccination plan has not come to fruition.
''According to the plan, 60% of the population should have been jabbed in the country at the end of the current year, and we now have only half of these people vaccinated. The plan cannot be materialized in the left two months. So, yes, vaccination plan has failed,'' Sergeenko declared.
Per Oct 21 data, 1,932,643 vaccines (1,017,863 having received a single shot, and 914,311 fully vaccinated citizens) have been administered in Georgia.
