According to the parents of Ilya Pilpani, a 13-year-old boy who went missing in Svaneti, a reward of GEL 50 000 will be given to their son's finder or provider of important information. The family said about it at a briefing today.

The family reported that even though the investigation is underway and the teenager is also wanted under Interpol's yellow notice, there is very little information.

"An investigation is underway, all possible versions are being considered, and an international search has been announced. Particular attention is paid to Upper Svaneti - Lenger, Jvari, and Mestia, where the child was last seen. We want to announce an award for our son's finder. If you have any information about where our child is now, and this information is confirmed, we are ready to pay GEL 50 000. For any information that helps us find the child or points to people who may be involved in the child's disappearance, we will transfer GEL 30 000. We fully guarantee the confidentiality of this information. We try to use all possible means to find our child, if there is at least one percent chance that he is abroad, we want to use this opportunity as well," said Ilya Pilpani's mother, Ksenia Pilpani.

Ilya Pilpani left home by bicycle on July 18 and never returned.

The case is being investigated under Article 143, Part 3, Subparagraph D of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates illegal deprivation of liberty against a minor with prior knowledge.
