The coronavirus confirmed to another clergyman. The bishop of the Diocese of North America, Saba Intskirveli, said in a video message on the social network.
According to him, the infected patient is New York-based father Spiridon Narsia, whose source of infection is unknown. The clergyman is undergoing treatment at home.
“You know that New York is the epicenter. We do not know where he was infected with whom he had been in contact, although he had not served the previous weekend and was undergoing treatment at home. Please pray for him and mention both Father Ioseb and Father Spiridon in your prayers,” states bishop Saba Inskirveli.
Bishop Saba calls on the congregation to pray while he prays from the temple for them.
Bishop Saba said in another video broadcast on March 25 that another clergyman Ioseb Mindiashvili got infected with the virus as well.
